How the HESI A2 works
Your school picks the sections and the passing score
The HESI A2 is modular. Most programs ask for Math, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary and Grammar, and many add Anatomy and Physiology, Biology or Chemistry. You only sit the sections your program selects.
There is no national pass mark. Each program sets its own minimum, often 75% to 80% per section or on a composite. That is why this bank scores you by section, the same way your application is read.
