What changed
January 6, 2026: a new outline
PTCB moved the PTCE to content outline v1.4. The four domains and their weights are fixed: Medications 35%, Federal Requirements 18.75%, Patient Safety and Quality Assurance 23.75%, Order Entry and Processing 22.5%. Nine of the 22 knowledge statements are explicitly calculation-based.
